Welcome to Casamigos Car Rental. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully as they contain important information regarding your rental.
1. Rental Agreement
By signing the rental agreement, the renter agrees to all terms and conditions outlined herein. The rental agreement is a legally binding contract between Casamigos Car Rental (the “Company”) and the renter (the “Customer”).
2. Driver Requirements
- The renter must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license recognized in Aruba.
- An international driver’s permit may be required if the license is not in English.
- Additional drivers must also meet these requirements and be registered on the rental agreement.
3. Insurance and Coverage
- Casamigos Car Rental offers different insurance options, including standard coverage and additional protections. Customers are encouraged to review these options before signing the agreement.
- The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle that is not covered by insurance. In the event of an accident, the customer must immediately inform the Company and provide all necessary information.
4. Vehicle Condition and Responsibility
- The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when it was rented, aside from normal wear and tear. The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during the rental period.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. A cleaning fee will apply if evidence of smoking is found.
- The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when it was rented. Otherwise, refueling charges will apply.
5. Payment and Deposits
- Full payment of the rental fee and any additional services must be made upon pickup of the vehicle. Casamigos Car Rental accepts major credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
- A security deposit will be required and held until the vehicle is returned. The deposit amount varies depending on the type of vehicle rented.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a fee.
- No refunds will be given for no-shows or early returns.
7. Use of Vehicle
- The vehicle may only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. The renter agrees not to use the vehicle for any illegal activities or to transport hazardous materials.
- The vehicle must remain within the island of Aruba. Any unauthorized use of the vehicle, including off-road driving, towing, or crossing national borders, is prohibited.
8. Breakdowns and Emergencies
- In the event of a breakdown or accident, the renter must contact Casamigos Car Rental immediately for assistance. The Company will provide support and guidance on the next steps.
- The renter is not allowed to repair or authorize repairs to the vehicle without the Company’s permission.
9. Privacy Policy
Casamigos Car Rental values your privacy. We collect and store your personal information only for rental purposes and do not share it with third parties, except as required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
Casamigos Car Rental is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the rented vehicle, including but not limited to lost profits, personal injuries, or loss of personal belongings. The renter is solely responsible for complying with all traffic laws and ensuring the safety of passengers.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Aruba. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be settled in the courts of Aruba.
12. Amendments to Terms
Casamigos Car Rental reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the renter’s responsibility to review the terms periodically for any changes.
By proceeding with the booking and signing the rental agreement, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
